The Team of the Week can be nominated by a coach, parent/guardian, player or opposing team and must portray and exemplify what a team is really about. Game results may be taken into consideration, but will not be a determining factor. The goal of the program is to simply celebrate our local athletes, coaches and supporters who positively stand out in our community. One team will be selected each week and will receive pride of place as our Facebook cover photo, bragging rights when pointing to our TVs at both SSCI facilities, and an entry into the monthly draw for awesome prizes!

Soccer Laduma’s ‘Team of the Week’ is a feature in each and every Soccer Laduma edition, highlighting the top performers from the Premier Soccer League clubs.

Selections are based on the performances of players in this past weekend's Nedbank Cup Last 32 action. The team will always be set up in a standard 4-4-2 formation, selected by Soccer Laduma's team of respected journalists.
